FAQ
Questions, answered plainly
The things people ask before their first session — including the one question we always answer the same way: when in doubt, see a dentist.
Can an online consultation replace seeing a dentist?
No — and we will never pretend otherwise. Our sessions are educational: we explain what is known about everyday oral health, help you build better habits, and prepare you for dental visits. Diagnosis, treatment and prescriptions require a registered dental professional examining you in person. If your situation needs urgent care, we will tell you directly.
How does a consultation work, and how long does it take?
Everything happens by video from home. It starts with a free 15-minute intro call. A full consultation runs about 45 minutes — we talk through your questions, review your routine or concerns, and afterwards you receive a written summary with a personal action list. Care plan clients have shorter follow-up check-ins while new habits settle.
Which situations need urgent, in-person care?
Do not book with us first if you have: severe or worsening toothache, swelling of the face or jaw, bleeding that will not stop, a knocked-out or broken tooth, or difficulty swallowing or breathing. Contact a dentist urgently, or call NHS 111 outside hours — these symptoms need clinical examination, not guidance.
How is my privacy protected?
We collect only what we need to reply to you: your name, email address and message. We never sell data, run no advertising trackers, and use only essential cookies to keep the site working. You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete your data — just email support@dentalreboot.consulting. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How much does it cost, and how do I pay?
Prices are published on our Services page: the intro call is free, a full consultation is £49, and a quarterly care plan is £129. Nothing is charged on this website — after you book, we confirm everything in writing and arrange payment separately. If anything is unclear before you commit, you can simply walk away.
Important: this is an education and guidance service — not a diagnosis, prescription or clinical treatment. If you have severe pain, facial swelling, bleeding that will not stop, or a dental injury, contact a dentist or NHS 111 urgently.
Still unsure?
Ask us directly — book a free intro call or email support@dentalreboot.consulting and we will answer honestly, even if the answer is “see a dentist”.
